In this session, you’ll learn how to take full advantage of the key Harmonize features that drive increased student engagement, promote inclusive learning, and save instructor’s time.
You’ll learn how you build your first Harmonize discussion and how you can use powerful features like multi-media, milestones, and auto-grading to take your course discussion to the next level.
By the end of the session, you’ll know how to set up, moderate, evaluate, and encourage student participation in your online course discussions.
We’ll cover how you can:

  • Use ChatGPT to build your discussion prompt
  • Author rich content
  • Configure milestones (aka multiple due dates)
  • Auto grade student participation
  • Easily evaluate student performance and provide substantive feedback

iClicker: Asynchronous course use

The new Assignments activity type in iClicker Cloud extends iClicker’s signature student engagement experience to asynchronous class meetings. The Assignments feature allows instructors to upload pre-authored questions to gather student feedback, encourage participation, and gauge understanding. Students can still feel like they are active participants in their courses by responding to Assignments at their own pace, from wherever they may be. Assignments are great for pre-class, post-class, breakout, or lab activities in synchronous classes, too! This session is vendor hosted and facilitated by Missouri Online.
